| The 2009 U.S. FMX Championship Series has been expanded to cover more locations including The Wayne County Fair in Honesdale, PA. Last year the series points champion had to be decided by the results of the final round. Hal Strauss, who will be a rider at the fair, was the points leader with one round remaining. In the final round the Series title was captured by Ben Veyna, also riding at the fair for a repeat National Title. This year should prove to be equally exciting as both riders are returning for the title run along with new riders Ray Bennett, Rich Kerns, Jorel Bermudez, and Josh Wilson who are set on taking a shot at the 2009 National Championship.
